Feature description
How the advertising module works in summary:
- The site owner creates click packages that sellers can buy—for example, 100 clicks for 300 TRY, 200 clicks for 500 TRY, and so on.
- The site owner defines how many sponsored products appear when a category is opened or a search is run, and at which positions they are shown.
- Because regulations require sponsored products to be clearly marked, the site owner uploads a “Sponsored” badge and chooses where it appears on the product display.
- Sellers review the ad packages in their panel and purchase them.
- They allocate their purchased clicks to whichever products they want to appear higher in listings.
- For example, if a seller assigns clicks to a “white lace-up sneakers” product, that product ranks higher when shoppers search for it or browse its category.
- Products shown in search results are rotated randomly by the system on an ongoing basis.
- When a visitor clicks a product, one click is deducted from the seller’s ad balance.
- In their panel, sellers see how many clicks each advertised product received and the related purchase amounts. If the ads perform well, they can keep buying new packages.
- To stop sellers from exhausting each other’s click budgets, the system—similar in spirit to Google—counts only one click per IP address within 24 hours. That helps purchased click packages be used as efficiently as possible. You can watch the features of the advertising module in our marketplace software by clicking Advertising Module Features.
